Grassroots coaches need a useful view of their team’s performance while there is still time to act on it. After two minutes’ training, a volunteer watching the game can capture match stats on an iPad. Powercoach turns that input into a live dashboard with professional-level charts, field maps and coaching insight.
What I built.
I built the application, from capturing chains of possession to the live dashboard and AI Brain. Drawing on an AFL assistant coach’s expertise, the AI offers advice to help coaches improve their chances of winning. Coaches can explore expected score and win probability, ask questions about the game and return to the data for post-game analysis.

I started building Powercoach in 2025 with two partners, including GWS Giants assistant coach Robbie Chancellor. His experience helps connect the product to decisions coaches make on the sidelines.
We launched during the 2026 AFL season. Powercoach is a venture of my own alongside my consulting work: a specific problem, close collaboration with people who know the field, and software they can put to use.
